Thanks, GetIt is fantastic!
Is Grab++ useless for videos now?

Please give an option to disable or remove the GETIT icon from firefox while preserving its firefox integration.

The icon is irritating and very large in size on a netbook.

On Myspace the program doesn't grabs music anymore.

the getit icon is super irritating. i cant even properly surf youtube without it getting in the way, the pop up everytime you move your mouse is simply too much. if this doesn't get corrected i'll just uninstall and move to another download manager

Copy http://www.marcritzema.com/vids/com_s+cII.mp4 to memory and add it to Orbit Downloader v2.8.16. It will crash because of msvcrt.dll in an updated Windows XP Pro. SP3. :(

I totally agreed with some of the users here who complaint about the getit icon on the Firefox. It is very irritating as it will always pops up when I moved my mouse to some video/picture location :( I also can't even surf properly at Youtube without it getting in the way. I too will switch to other download manager if there's no way to turn off the GetIt icon in future releases. Thank you for listening.

Hey guys, please ignore my earlier comments (3:36 PM). I finally found a way to turn off the Getit button in Firefox while still preserving the Firefox integration.

In the Firefox's Menu, click on "Tools -> Orbit Getit -> Enable" to disable it.

Please provide automatic update.

Currently, each time an update is made available, the entire installer including the updates must be downloaded and installed manually.

Instead of downloading the entire installer with each update, only the updated parts of the browser are downloaded. The browser has some kind of Update Manager that takes care of the downloading and installation of the updates — without much user intervention.

There should be no need to download the entire installer again, save it, and then manually install it with each update. Just imagine if Microsoft Windows would require you to reinstall the entire OS with each windows update.

Btw, I love Orbit Downloader. It is the best downloader in the world.

:-)

I've unchecked the getit-box in preferences, but the damned box still appears all over the place!

I'm a firefox user and I unchecked the get it option both in firefox >tools > orbit get it and Orbit tools menu but it's still pestering me. I really hate changing to another download manager but I'm afraid, that I hate this Get it button even more!

Lokk I'm trying to download the 2.8.0.16 version. it worked for me. It had a "get it DIRECTLY" drop down option on the "get it" button that worked when no other option would. Why is it that every download that purports to be one for 2.8.0.16 ALWAYS is a download instead fro the latest version 2.8.0.17 that I CAN'T get to work! I JUST want the older version. Is that too much to ask?

FOr Internet explorer users-to disable get it button in internet explorer you need to run orbit in the taskbar, then just right click on its icon and remove the tick on enable get it button.

For firefox users-go to tools menu in the browser and remove tick from enable getit button.
